As a Welsh company, we always take pride in the work we do in Wales, it means a lot to us to help contribute to the Welsh community (of course we love our work outside of Wales too!).
Firstly, Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus everyone!
It feels like January took an age to end and now February has been and gone in a flash. But at least that means its St David’s Day today!! What better day to reminisce on some of the brilliant Welsh jobs we’ve completed so far in 2019.
Our fabulous Welsh holiday, St David’s Day, is finally here, along with the excuse to eat as many welshcakes as we please. This time of year is easy to recognise in Wales, purely because you’re never far from a daffodil, our national emblem. Whether they’re pinned to someone’s shirt, growing on your lawn, being sold for £1 (bargain!!) in your local supermarket OR flying high over Cardiff in the form of giant inflatable daffodils (FOR Cardiff’s awesome latest scheme #TheDaffTrail), they’re hard to miss.
So Welsh pride is running high at the moment, especially since we beat the English in our Guinness Six Nations match last Saturday! Here’s a few of our jobs which have brought us even more Welsh pride this year…
Six Nations Charity Lunch
This event took place on the 1st February, with the Cardiff Blues hosting their annual Six Nations Charity Lunch in the Heineken Marquee in Cardiff Arms Park. We provided all production for this event, including the set, stage, furniture for the set, sound, audio visual elements and the lighting. Our MDs attended this unmissable event, supporting the Cardiff Blues as their official sponsors.

Welsh NHS Confederation Annual Conference
Taking place on 5th – 7th February in Cardiff City Hall, this was an important event to be a part of. We were pleased to provide all of the production again, including decking out a separate room for this one!
Wales and West Housing’s MAD Awards
On the 8th February, the Making A Difference Awards recognised local stars of the community, so it was our honour to make it look and feel as special as it’s attendees!
Sam Warbs Testimonial Year
Sam broke the nation’s hearts by announcing his retirement from the glorious game. His testimonial year celebrating his dedication to Welsh rugby has recently come to an end, it was our pleasure to provide the production for his events in Wales.

Our own event, put on by Genero Experiences. We’re proud to put on an event which is always a popular affair, especially when it’s Wales versus England playing! Taking place in the heart of Cardiff in the Marriott Hotel, it’s the perfect location to experience the buzz which takes over the city on match days.

Cardiff Life Finalists and Sponsors Reception
The Cardiff Life Awards are just around the corner, if you haven’t already noticed on social media! As Sponsors of the Creative Category, we were invited to the Finalists and Sponsors Reception on 26th February, which was perfect for networking before the big event on the 21st of March.
ACCA Cymru’s St David’s Day Business Breakfast Seminar
This gorgeous event took place in the lovely Hilton Hotel in Cardiff. We helped the event look and sound the best it could, it looked like the perfect way to begin St David’s Day, with a stellar performance from Only Men Aloud.
Bridgend Business Forum St David’s Day Breakfast Seminar
A further St David’s Day celebration took place at Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel, with the legendary ex WRU player, Ryan Jones inspiring all of the business professionals attending.
Wales Week in London
Taking place from the 23rd February till the 9th March is London’s celebration of everything Welsh in the UK’s capital city. There are a number of sport, business, art and cultural events taking place across Wales Week. There are some big names taking part… check out the Wales Week website here if you’re interested!
Best of Wales Gala Dinner
As part of Wales Week, cancer charity Velindre is hosting the Best of Wales Gala Dinner, on 8th March.. It’s our honour to provide all production for this significant event in London, Grosvenor Square. It takes place on the 8th March, the perfect finale to Wales Week in London.
We have loved being involved with these events; it’s great to be a part of them! Really gives us a sense of Welsh pride each time we get positive feedback from our clients! It’s why we do what we do!
